Artist's Description

Preserved steam locomotive, 3298, a former LSWR Beattie class engine built in 1874, and running here on the Bodmin & Wenford Railway pulling up from Bodmin Parkway station. This locomotive later ran for the Southern Region and then British Railways with the number 30587.

Whilst I was a Research Scientist I had been a keen hobbyist photographer but now photography is my full-time profession. Photography is a fantastically creative medium. Like the longer established medium of paint, styles and interpretation of subjects is only limited by our own imaginations. With my images I am trying to explore these limits.
